i went over to c's the other night and she showed me her latest buys after a trip to seattle. most were from forever 21, all great and so cheap! i immediately checked their website after getting home and found a lot possible closet additions. you statesers are so lucky. will definitely be looking to drive over the boarder sometime soon.

diy weekend

there were two projects this weekend. the first with j, feather headbands inspired by mary-kate's peacock one and my shitty arts&crafts native creation the night before (i saved it anyways and plan on doing it up one night.. k are you with me?).


the second was a pair of studded bracelets which were originally meant to be a headband. but the damn studs were sold for scrap booking and cost like .25 each (i haven't been able to find anything else). i was not down for a $30 headband. i needed a lot less for bracelets and i think they look better then a headband would have anyways.

(my birthday was also very nice, i cant wait for the pictures from disposable!)

body in chains

i finally finished these body chains tonight! they turned out a little different then i had planned but i still really like them. everything cost me about $15.00, well worth it. my favourite is the one with the thicker middle, id wear it alone most often i think. its a bit hard to see in the picture...

i also want to make another black one (thicker than the one pictured) because i ware so much white but i haven't been able to find thick black chain anywhere.

3D

this is the final object for 3D class project, a jewelry stand! it's not amazing, but it might stay in my room for a bit. i'm not really into 3D so i was pretty nervous about how it was going to turn out. i had originally planned for it to be like cherry blossom branches. but i didn't get enough time in the workshops to get the flowers done. i think i like it better without them though.

we were meant to make mechanism in the object so i made it turn haha. i've since tighted the screw so it wont turn. i am much fonder of things that stay put and look nice.
